  HAPPY FREAKIN' BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN SON :) I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes as I read all the beautiful b'day wishes to you and as much as it helps the heart it also makes the eyes leak a little. You'd laugh at me for crying I know but men do cry and I've had plenty the last few years.
   All I can think abou is 19 years ago I was holding the little baby boy that made me a dad... and now I only hold memories.
   I was responsible for you and I can't help but feel I failed in some way to avoid this tragedy.. after all it wasn't a disease and could have been prevented. I'll never really believe it was God's will that this happen or we wouldn't be given choices in life.. rather he just hopes we make the best judgements then judges us on ours.  You were too young for this to be your fault so I take that full responsibility and weight to me as well to the cross. I just hope Jesus can lighten the load a little because it's very heavy to bear at times like this.
    All the times families are supposed to be celebrating this event or that.... Christmas, Birthdays, Thanksgiving, ALL of them.... they're so melancholy now... bittersweet memories that drive into the heart like a knife at times. I truly lost the joy for living that day but with Gods help maybe I'll get it back.
    I know you hear me.. see me.. watch over us. Just my will power alone would hold you here til I can join ya :) I refuse to let go Buddy..that's the one thing no one can make me do.

To the family of Kenneth, I am so sorry for your loss. It just doesn't seem fair that our children go before us. At least we can say I children had a happy childhood and they achieved some of their goals in life. My daughter also died in a car accident.

Keep trusting in the Lord, and hopefully we will be given our promise one day from him. We will reunited with our love ones. Hope and prayer is all we can do, but thank goodness we can treasure our beautiful memories forever.
