Hey Buddy,
    Well another year begins son.. Last night I could hear fireworks somewhere off in the background and couldn't help but think of you and I doing the same thing.Still remember the first rocket I let you fire off then from there.. you lit them all. Now all our fireworks are abandoned like so many other unfulfilled dreams... only memories of what was remain.
   Maybe this will be a better year but without you I kinda doubt if any good ones remain. Some would say I'm pessimistic but then I always was.. even before. Nothing good ever happened to me without 3 bad things soon following.... so you kinda get used to losing a yourself a little at a time til nothing remains but what was.
   Maybe this isn't the plan God had in mind and I'm sure it wasn't but he's going to have to be a little more clear about my direction....not a shadow in a closet others speak of. Right now I'm pretty skeptical about anything and everything.. and why wouldn't one be? This world is just a breeding ground for evil.. injustice.. insane wars that kill innocent young kids like you.. and the political madness just keeps rolling right along.
   Well son.. enough of that. I know you'd say "well whatever" and just give me that Elvis smirk :) You were kinda above all that B.S. and maybe you're lucky you never got to experience the bad side of life.. but I wish so much you'd experienced more of the good. It's kids like you that would have changed the world but perhaps that didn't fit God and Satans master plan. I guess you know pretty much what I think of that plan now.
    The Lord giveth.. and the Lord taketh away... Sometimes you wish he'd never given at all.
  Anyway I hope you're rocking out in your Mansion of Music wherever you are. Shake the walls.. the heavens.. let the beat become the one in my heart... I would ask that it's not Rob Zombie beating in mine though :)

CHRISTMAS / Mom To Angel Kenneth (merry christmas )

Kenneth,
I love and miss you so much.
Kenneth this christmas has been harder than last year if it get's any harder i will not be here that mush longer i won't be because i can't take missing you so much you were my frist baby and all ways will be i prayed so hard and so many years to have you for what just to have to let you go 17 yesrs later thats just not right.
I love so much and will never stop.
 i am so happy that Christmas is all most over i will try to cook for Lanier and Kayla but i don't know if i can you were always in that kitchen asking if it done yet i'd have to run you out so i could get it done i would give anything just to have you back just one day if i could and then i would take your place so you could have the life you wanted. I try to help people for Christmas in your memory  just so i can get through it. if you help someone you should not have a reason you should just help.

Merry Christmas Son,
    Not that long 'til midnight.. another long Christmas without you :(  It was so hard these last few weeks and days as this day approached... You know there will never be another "good" Christmas for me every again.. it's just impossible.
   I've hard people say "Kenneth would have wanted you to........" ... well they can just go to hell. If God can't take this pain away then no one nor any standard cliche's are gonna ease it any either.
   To have a really Merry Christmas would mean I have to leave some of you behind and well... that's just not gonna happen Buddy. I'd rather have the memories and cry.. than forget and laugh.
   I used to think dying or a major disease like cancer was the worst thing that could happen to someone... but I found out there are worse things to endure.. Like living the hell of losing your future... and living in some kind of bittersweet past that can never be again.
    The tears won't stop as I reach out for you tonight son. I hope you're alright... I just won't know til I'm with you. I don't care what anyone else say's... Only you know.. Only God knows and ya know I don't hear him saying a whole helluva lot on the matter. He can strike me down now.. that'd be fine.. I doubt he could hurt me much worse.
   We'll be out there tomorrow to decorate your grave in style Buddy. I know it's more for us than for you but sure can't leave you out and I know somewhere you see us paying you honor.
   We gave Kayla the best Christmas we could and she's happy with what she got but I'd trade every Christmas and holidays.. gifts and all.. for just 5 minutes with you now.
    There's only one gift God could have given me this year to make me happy and for some reason this all powerful being just can't produce the goods. If I were to believe this were Gods will that you should die then I'd have to spit in his eye and go to hell for it's no kinda God I'd ever wanna worship.  I can believe in God but Hell.... I really don't think God needs one. He's doing just fine with this thing called Earth.
   Well Son.. Merry Christmas wherever you are... Hope you got the place Rockin' in the New year!! :) I'll be with you someday and we'll see what this chessgame is all about.  Love and miss you so much.. Lanier Close
